It commonly affects people over 30 years and unfortunately, symptoms tend to get worse with age. Most commonly, rosacea will present with flushing across the nose and cheeks from enlarged capillaries under the skin. It can cause some swelling, burning feeling or dry and flaky patches. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAcne\u003c\/strong\u003e is an inflammatory condition affecting the hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the skin. Normally, old cells lining the follicles fall away and are carried to the surface by sebum. If excess sebum is produced, it combines with the cells to form a plug and inflammation is triggered, causing a whitehead or blackhead.
